Ales & Cider

The Hour Glass Inn is run by Exeter Brewery, making it the perfect place to sample some local brews, including, of course, Avocet, Devon’s original organic real ale, created in 2008 and a firm favourite ever since. Other ales we offer include:

Ferryman, ‘fraidNot, Lighterman & Darkness, as well as an ever-changing list of guest ales.

As we’re based in Devon we also offer a choice of fantastic local ciders.

Wine

Our wine list covers some familiar favourites alongside some more local/ offbeat selections, with plenty of options by the glass.

Whiskies

We offer a large selection of Scotch, Bourbon, Irish, Japanese, English & American Whiskies – ranging from well-known crowd favourites to occasional interesting finds.
